So I see there is an available spot for a new team in the league. Did someone drop out or are we just adding a team to make it an even number?

Better for both teams..will they be Fryside? Or Covebe? Any other news? New signings? Significant lost players? Pre season rankings? NAFC has lost their top scorer to open premier... Wish Terry all the best I'm sure he'll excel there. Heard Roma and Nordic have also lost starters through the summer? My top 5 in no peticular order Roma, Howe Sound, NAFC, Norvan, Nordic. Have to wait n see with Fryside...if they get the right guys back they will be competitive and compete for a top spot.

NAFC lost a big goal scorer in Terry but what they added from last year and keeping everyone pretty much still IMO has them as one of the top 2 teams this year! Roma has lost Guido,Patrick, Marco, Mario who were all starters last year. In addition Roma lost 3 other players totaling up for 7 guys missing from last year. CV United should be a top team this year along with Norvan and potentially Howe Sound. Nordic and Roma will probably battle in the middle with LV Azteca as I have also heard that Nordic has lost a few players over the summer. At least it should make for a more competitive league this year as the league last year was already becoming alot closer in terms of the top five teams from last year!

Seymour 3 - Guardians 1 Roma 3 - Warriors 1 NAFC 3 - CV 1 Nordic 3 - Howe Sound 2 Norvan 4 - LV 2
Question:
When will the rest of the league schedule be posted? Every other league has theirs done, is it that difficult? We even have other master leagues questioning it. Just trying to plan things with mys kids involed in sports.
Also, did anything new come up at the League meeting that the we should be made aware of?
Thanks

Norvanman, not going to lie but I totally agree with you here! This league is probably on it's last legs. It's unfortunate that the Warriors dropped out, but most people could see this one coming, as this team in the past 3 years has struggled to get bodies out to field a team. At least if the league had to lose another team it wasn't another that was competitive like Coveside has been. Let's be honest Warriors have always been at the bottom of the barrel and you can take this as a positive and look at it as trimming the fat off! ;D To lose Coveside was a bigger loss but at least the second team dropping out wasn't Norvan, Howe Sound, Nordic or NAFC. spqr, you also bring a great point up! If we are fourtunate the full schedule may be up after Thanksgiving.? I'm sure your team is not the only one where your team members are breaking you about the league schedule, as guys do want to plan their family, work and vacations around their team's schedule. If the league is claiming that they had a feeling that their maybe was going to be a disruption in the league( Warriors folding) they still could have put out the original schedule and on dates where teams where scheduled to play the Warriors it would have been recognized as a bye. This could have all been done by the end of the week after our league meeting. Better yet the league could have put an e-mail out and at least kept some sort of open communication about the Watrriors potentially not being able to have enough for a team. Maybe one or two of the 22 players on Norvan might have wanted to switch teams to get more playing time? At the very least no one will ever know this answer, because again it seems like other issues in this league, at times they are top secret. Kudos to the teams and managers who have decided to stick around and make an effort to keep this league going. I for one really do enjoy playing in this league and know that most of my team mates also like this league a lot. In terms of this league trying to attract other teams let's face it the oppurtunity has been passed. As spqr mentioned already, Well sorry for the long e-mail but just needed to vent this morning! I know there are others in the league who feel the same way as I do but they choose not to openly talk about it. Good luck to every one playing this weekend. Match of the week IMO should be CV United vs NAFC!
