Predictions for this week....
I say Lynn Valley takes it although I really hope Guardians can get a few wins this week.
Nordic vs Howesound humm well know Nordic has always had a tough go I'm guessing a tie.
Vikings vs Roma I'm thinking that we take it by 1 goal. Vikings are a very very fit team and have really surprise me over the last few weeks. Very gritty and a lot of very talented players. Should be the game of the week.
Lots of points to be had we could see some moving around in standings come Sunday night.
Good luck boys

Heard that LV gave it to LEI winning 2-1. Unfortunately the ref never showed up, so this game was played as an exhibition game and the result won't count officially. LEI played with only 10 players supposedly.Big game tonight as Seymour plays the undefeated Wanderers.

They look good, undefeated and sitting top of the table. I think tonight's result will be a good test to see where we stand against their league.
I hope its competitve but we come away with the W.
This Inter-cup is a great idea i'm pumped for tonight.

HAHA Conductor yeah we save our best for the best!!! PT17 be careful last time to chirped Seymour and a player in particular it bit you in the ass... 3 vs 9 btw Unfortunately the game was postponed as the lazy idiots only swept the football potion of the field and there were loads of clumps of ice by the touchlines.

The question is will Nordic and Scuie get this Cross Over Cup started tonight?? Two games and two postponements already!! If the game is played look for Nordic to win by at least a field goal.

Looks like I was right on my prediction as Nordic scored a field goal to win over Sciue in the first Cross Over game..Look for Howe Sound to get 3 points tonight as well.

Howe Sound gives their Millars league competition a beat down winning 3-0 in a game that was never in doubt for HS. With Nordic and Roma's victory thatl leaves the NSCL undefaeted thus far in Cup play vs the Millars league. Teams that are sure to not only prove appoint but will have something to say are playing on Monday from the Millars league. LEI and Wanderers are sure to prove that the Millars League are tops in the North Shore.

Vikings goalkeeper got a broken leg in a bad tackle second half of the game so game was called after Vikings up 1 goal. Hope Mike gets better soon. Nice to see our league on top. Would be nice to get both leagues to come together next year.

What a game last night! Nordic vs Wanderers in the rain at Griffin where the wind was driving the rain sideways at times and even pushed over a tree. There was quite a bit of lip from both teams on and of the field, and there was a player asked to leave the park. There were yellows and a red but most shockingly NO red card awarded when an altercation led to one player putting both hands around the neck of a Wanderer. Ernesto did control the game well but he admitted to me that he missed that one.
Both teams are competitive and it made for a fun game to watch.

Alicat, I agree with you on the the rain coming down hard last night. I'm stll confused on how only the Wanderrs had a player ejected yet Nordic didn't recieve any ejections. From what I saw if Wanderers aren't playing a man down they win this game by 2 goals. With the game last night and Vikings vs All Beef on Saturday seems like there is already a lot of cards handed out in ths Cross Over Cup. I think it's going to be a good competiion with both these leagues playing against each other. With LEI's loss last night the Millar's League is stll looking for their first W in this cmpetition. Is it really true the NSCL is the top men's master league on the Shore??? Time will tell but the Millar's League is definitely a lot more scrappier. Wanderers IMO are probably one of the top teams and will probably be the team to beat.

Congratulations to Guardians who have finally collected their first win of the year coming on their last game before the Christmas break. Granted it was against their old competition from the Millars league so the Guardians probably had a good scouting report on the Screaming Vikings. All Beef have a game tonight vs Howe sound, it shows up that their game on Saturday was ABD. How do teams know if players received red cards? I heard that Wanderer's received a red card on Monday vs Nordic. Curious to know if the Vikings vs All Beef will be replayed or Vikings given the victory as they were leading 1-0? Millars league still looking for their first victory, do they get it before the Christmas break??
