Well I took in the Howe Sound vs All Beef game at Griffin tonight and Sean (not sure how it's spelled) said that they will have to replay the game vs Vikings, although he didn't know when. The game was a decent one with both teams trying hard and demonstrating skill on a very wet field that had a few dead spots where the accumulation of water was a factor. Howe Sound scored early and then opened up a two goal lead, that really got All Beef cooking (sorry lol) and they got one back but HS put it away with a third towards the end. Will Vikings get a win tomorrow for their fallen keeper?

Vikings came and rummaged and ransacked the Fat Boys 11-0. Seymour also won by a field goal over their Millar League oppenent. As the Millars league is getting their asses handed to them by NSCL competition. Hope everyone enjoys the holidays

Big game coming up on Thursday does Seymour keep the NSCL streak going? Wanderers who are the class of the Millars league will be looking to get their side's first W to maybe build on some confidence going into the New Year. Seymour also has something to prove as they are looking to be one of the top teams. With an impressive 3-0 victory to start this Cup round they are sitting in the basement of the standings portion.

Congrats to pt17 for getting last nights prediction right. Seymour gave some Christmas spirit to the Millars League as they probably had so much Christmas cheer they couldn't focus. At least that's what it looked last night, before you could sing Jingle Bells , Wanderers had a 3-0 lead and ended up winning 5-1. Congrats to Wanderers for getting the Millars league their first "W" in the Challenge cup. Seymour should just pretend they are playing Roma every week, as Seymour always seems to find ways to have a melt down when the games are big matches. Unless of course they are playing Roma in which they seem to always score a lot of goals on and take points. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays.

Let the Winter games begin, hope everyone dranks lots and also ate lots and got fat and out of shape. Some big games right off the bat to start the second half of the season.
Vikings vs Guardians, do the Guardians get their first regular season win? I'm going with the Vikings to continue their hot streak from before the break and they win this one by a goal.
Game of the week is Seymour vs Nordic. Seymour had their asses handed to them just before the break in the North Shore Cup derby. As well Nordic has always taken care of business whenever they play Seymour. Nordic is in a great position to come in the top two this year. I know that Seymour wants to get a win against Nordic so I'm going to go with a tie in this game.

Seymour wins 3 to 2 against Nordic today and Viking gets another win 5 to 1 to Gardians. Anyone know what the outcome of Howesound and Roma game? Top teams are getting closer in the standing. Looks like the last few games will determine a lot.

Roma rolled to a 4-1 win then cooked up some hotdogs inside the dressing room to top it off

Wow, what a first weekend back of results. HS probably carried the play vs Roma but unfortunately struggled to score. Roma did well to finish on their counter attacks gaining a 4-1 victory. HS though gets some help from Seymour. Seymour must be on cloud 9 this morning not only are they sitting in 2nd place all alone, but they finally beat Nordic 3-2. Would be interested to see someone post about this game?? Vikings stay hot and get a 5-1 victory to stay in the hunt, but there odds are slim for a BC spot. Seymour all though in 2nd only have 2 games left. HS and Nordic IMO have the best chance at coming in the top 2. Here's a glance at games remaining and schedules
-Seymour (2) vs Howe Sound and Vikings can max out at 24 pts -Nordic (3) vs Guardians, Roma and Howe Sound can max out at 24 pts - Howe Sound (3) vs Seymour, LV azteca and Nordic can max out at 22 pts - Vikings (2) vs Seymour and Roma can max out at 20 pts going to be an exciting last month of league play!! Any thoughts or predictions out there from you peeps??

Seymour vs Nordic games usually come with dangerous tackles, verbal profanities and some pushing and shoving, and this game had its share. This is because both teams want to win, but though this game had it all it was tame by comparison to past games. Really good play by both teams in a close game but I think Seymour just wanted it a little bit more than Nordic this time.

Big games this weekend. Game of the week is definitely
-Nordic vs Guardians, with Guardians still looking for their first win of the season and last game vs Nordic were unlucky. Some felt the ref stole the show in this game as Nordic won 3-1 but were rewarded three PK's in this game and scored on all 3. Guardians felt robbed and they should have as reports were that Guardians were the better team on that cold October day. Look for Nordic to try and avenge last week's wake up call by Seymour. I'm still going to go with a Nordic win in this but it will be a close one. - Offside Heys is back on his goal hot streak and is now tied for second, look for him to improve that total and take over the Golden Boot in sole possession of second place. Seymour is hot, hot, hot right now and look for them to prove that last week was no fluke. Unfortunately for Howe Sound they lost two key players(starters) to Roma last week with what looked like serious injuries. Will definitely be hard for HS to replace these talents. Anyone else with picks?
Cheech are you guys playing your make up cup game with All Beef?? If so I'm picking Vikings to beat All Beef and get the NSCL back in the win column after Seymour lost to the Wanderers.

No game for vikibgs this week, no luck getting the all beef game played or a friendly arranged. Gonna enjoy the seahawks game instead. Good luck to everyone else

Looks like All Beef chickened out in playing their make up game vs the Vikings! Which sucks cause it's always good to see Cheech post about the game on here!
