great weekend of foot ball. 2 Fantastic games today Nordic against Viking. First 60 mins of the game it was locked into a draw then myself a long time Nordic player gave a pass and made it 1 nothing Vikings. With 10 mins left a Vikings player got a second Yellow and was taken off. Nordic pushed all players forward and kept 3 back. Viking D play so well and our goaly stood on his head and kept us in the game but with 3 secs left in the game I score the last goal and made it 2 nothing final. Great to play against my old team great bunch of guys, but even greater to have won first game I've played against Nordic in 12 years. Cloud nine today great team effort.
Seymour won 2 nothing against Lynn Valley Shawn had 2 great goals. Last goal was one of the nicest I've seen in many years.
Still very tight with standing looks like second half of season will be exciting.
Good luck to everyone love the quality playing this year...

Ohhhhhh Cheech, that is rich!!! thanks for allowing me to spill my morning coffee out my nose in laughter this morning. Congrats on the massive win over your Bro, not only did you steal all the looks in your family... but 1G and 1 helper in a 2-0 win is absolutely huge over your former team!!! I bet you're on Cloud 9... sounds to me like Vikings management should get a raise for this signing.
Heys is starting to rip it up... when this man with a terrible accent is in the zone he can't be stopped. If only Seymour could play LV and Roma all year.
Nice to see some upsets this weekend... even nicer to see Cheech post on here again.

Congrats to PT17 for winning this weeks predictions, well actually Earl, made the picks you just said that he would go 0-3 which he did. Sounds like it was an exciting weekend for the NSCL with underdog teams coming up big. Nordic's loss is Vikings gain with Cheech making sure that Vikings made the right call in picking him up off of waiver's. Hard to believe that 5 points separates 6th spot from 2nd spot with 6 games to go 7 games for a couple of teams. IMO I don't really think there are any underdogs left in our league as on any given Sunday any team in this league can win, no matter who each of us are playing. Guardians although haven't won a game yet are very close to winning one as their last couple of results have been tight. I'm sure they wish they could have joined the underdog parade yesterday and gotten to play Roma!

Like I posted earlier no game is predictable in this league anymore. So much parity, which is a good thing. Vikings have taken over LV and Seymour as the hottest team in the league. Lots of talk out there about the Millars league looking to prove that they are the best league on the North Shore. As usual Roma is on the topic of being overrated and not really that good. One thing for sure having not played in a while, we are definitely going to be out of shape. Not looking forward to playing the hottest team in the League, Vikings. Vikings have won 2-0 back to back could it be a third week in a row??

Big weekend of games coming up, Roma vs Vikings, Howe Sound vs Nordic...
Vikings are on fire right now beating 2 of the top teams convincingly but can they upset the undefeated Romans?
Howe Sound have had some very surprising results of late, if they want to stay within the top 3 I think they need a W against Nordic. Seymour hoping for a tie in this one so we can push for a top 2 spot after the winter break.
Gona give some early predictions see if we can get some chatter going before the weekend:
LV Azteca 3 vs 0 Guardians
Roma 3 vs 3 Vikings
Howe Sound 1 vs 3 Nordic
Good luck to all!

-Howe Sound has just 1 point in their last 3 games. Offisde heys is correct in saying that this is a must win for Howe Sound. Nordic recovered nicely after losong the week before to Vikings to come out and get the result vs the surprising Aztec's. HS does seem to have Nordic's number, so I'm going to call a Howe Sound victory. - Gaurdians are still looking for their first victory of the season and look for them to get it this weekend. LV will struggle after their loss last week to Nordic. - Seymour enjoys the weekend off and have a team Grey Cup party!!

Although Howe Sound has sh*t the bed for almost a month now and their changing room is divided due to Lucas not being "White enough". Howe Sound certainly has Nordic's number, they bounce back and get back on track this weekend or the coaches job is on the line... I just don't see Nordic as a top 3 team.
Vikings have everyone's attention and rightfully so... they should lay a beat down on Roma this weekend as they are due for a loss and out of shape.
Guardians have a chance to prove themselves and hopefully get back at LV for the bitch move they pulled by walking off the field... Come on Guardians!
I would love to hear more about Cheechs highlights from last week... WTF??

This may be a bold statement but looking at the schedule I can't see where Howe Sound pick-up many points in their remaining fixtures. I think they are a good team but other teams around them have improved significantly and will test anyone. Guess we will see.
Can't see Guardians beating Lynne Valley just yet but it would be good to see them get the W after that BS. I heard LV got the chance to replay the game and be sportsman like and still declined... wow!!!!
As for Cheech he's a scoring machine, 2 goals ruled out on Sunday that most refs would have let go, one in particular was a sniper like finish. Good signing from Danny and comical outcome to the Nordic game.

Lol PT17 your comments on Howe Sound remind me of that other reigning Champion team. The Seahawks have been going through some controversy as reigning champs. But they are now back on track, HS has to much experience to not win and position themselves as a top team. Earl may actually win this weeks NSCL sports action call out.
