Any news on Thunder? Were they just struggling for guys last week or are they done for the year...? Couple big game this weekend both at Confed... My predictions Nordic 1 - Howe Sound 1, Vikings 1 - Roma 3, Guardians 1 - LV 5, and IF we play Thunder 1 - Seymour 6. Top of the table will shuffle around a little and see a very unlikely source reaching for top Who'd have predicted that 2 seasons ago!!?

NSCL Admin:
Have the Thunder folded? Don't want to waste a Sunday (or Saturday night) if other plans can be made.

Spar ,you get your wish and now don't have to worry about wasting your weekend plans when playing Thunder. Some. Big games this weekend, and the potential of there being a 3 way tie for first place. My picks are LV over Guardians and HS to win a tight one over Nordic. Mind you I know Seymour is hoping for a tie between Nordic and HS.

Wow a quick shout out to myself for going 2 for 2 as well Offsideheyes went 2 for 3. Trapper won the week before on the weekly picks. Wondering what Rastaman's thoughts are on Nordic losing to Howe Sound. When I arrived Nordic was up 1-0, playing a man down. To which I heard there goalie had been red carded earlier. It's crazy at how Nordic has such a good team, but yet find ways to let discipline be there down fall. Howe Sound is a very good team, and when ever you give up foul after foul to a team of this size it's only a matter of time before they make you pay. HS scored 3 of there 5 goals off set pieces to completely deflate Nordic 5-3. Nordic had so much in fighting that the Police were seen hanging out by the bleachers after the game??? A few Nordic players on the bleachers arguing with Nordic guys on the sidelines. As for LV vs Guardians, find it hard to believe that LV would walk off the field at half time. LV is up 1-0 but find out Guardians did not have all their player cards so decided to walk off the field and not return for the 2nd half. We just lost Thunder, cause they couldn't field teams yet LV wants to walk off the field when a team at least has the player's to play?? Yes I know we have rules, in saying that LV could have still finished the game. If they weren't happy with the final result then put a protest in. I know for a fact that league rules state that teams must have matching uniforms with all jersey's having a number on the back with out having any duplicate numbers. I wouldn't be surprised if Guardians were to protest this game vs LV stating this fact as we all know that LV never has matching uniforms and lots of times guys have jersey's with no numbers on the back?? Imagine LV walks off thinking they get a 1-0 victory only to have a protest against them in which they also are wrong and both teams lose out on points??? Vikings are no way a team that should have 3 losses. They are definitely better than their record shows in the standings. Looking forward to seeing what happens in the standing in the next Month. By Remembrance day will Howe Sound still be alone at the top? Will Seymour still be in the top 2? Hope Everyone enjoy's Thanksgiving and the Long weekend!!

Wow!!!! I can't believe what I just read, LV should be ashamed... what a bunch of little girls!!! Why would you walk off the field? I wouldn't blame the Guardians for protesting the Mexicans for their lack of jerseys, what an awful sight! for god sakes if Fresh Slice Pizza is going to sponsor you guys at least ask for 15 jerseys. Karma can be a bitch!
Nordic's cancer has never shown discipline and he is always the reason this team implodes... its pure comedy!
Big one coming up with HS vs Roma... should be a good physical battle as usual.

ZING!!!! Fresh Slice Pizza. Awesome chirp PT17.
In all seriousness though, that's poor form LV. Especially after you've spent the better part of 2 seasons struggling to put 11 guys on the field. At least pretend to have class.

This message board is pretty lame... Bring back the days of the Rastaman, when he was allowed to speak out of his ass and take down a bong hit at the same time.
Im guessing this new web page is too difficult to figure out for some people.
Big match this weekend.

-Big game of the day is Seymour vs Nordic, can Nordic recover from that bad beat down before Thanksgiving?? Also is Seymour for real this year, this game gives them a true test in terms of if Seymour will be a top half team this year.I'm going to go with a tie in this game. - Vikings will finally get their first win of the season as Guardians are still trying to figure things out -LV enjoys another week off and gobbles up some more Fresh Slice Pizza!! Maybe they get some tape so that they can all have numbers on their jersey's for next weekend!

THUD,that's exactley what just happened to Seymour yesterday after losing 6-1 to Nordic. The game was actually a lot closer than the score line reads as at 2-1 Nordic, Seymour had numerous chances to tie but couldn't find the net. Nordic, showed why they are always near the top, after taking a beat down 2wks ago to Howe Sound, things could have gone bad for them as Seymour had been playing well and had a lot of confidence going into the game. Nordic though bounced back and finished on their chances, which Seymour couldn't do. Howe Sound had a few key players out late on Saturday might, celebrating their season so far and all the goals they had been scoring. When the Roma camp heard that Howe Sound wasn't taking the game seriously it just motivated them a bit more Roma comes out with a solid 3-0 win while a player on HS absolutely lost his cool and gets red card while berating the official with a whole wack of offensive words?? Can't remember the last time I heard someone get called the "C" word, hopefully the offical doesn't need counselling after that ambush of obsecenties!!

I'm not quite sure if I can agree with the Conductor... sure Seymour could have tied it. Offsideheys could have tied it up a couple times but he was clearly off his game, even the goal he potted was a bit lucky as he fell on his ass... was this guy really the runner up for the Golden Boot last year? IMO if Seymour tied it, Nordic was dialed in with clinical finishing on this day... they were putting them in at will. Too bad as it looked as Seymour was gonna be in the top 3 this year. Kudos to Nordic and their flashy new kits for laying a beat down... big test for them in 2 weeks.
... wasn't a pretty display watching a guy give an official the double shotgun middle fingers to the face, poor judgement by him... as he is normally a cool customer. Still not sure why he flipped??? was just a yellow on the play. Lucky the game after was Men's, would have been a terrible sight if there were 12 year olds waiting for the field. Howe Sound could be imploding like the Seahawks this year... a lot of fighting in the clubhouse and verbal abuse from the sidelines.

My picks for this weekend
-Nordic keeps on rolling and win in another blow out to take the lead in Goals for - Game of the week Seymour vs Howe Sound, both of these teams are coming off losses, Seymour is wanting to prove that they are a top half team. Will they be able to overcome there drubbing from last week? Howe Sound are one of the top teams for a reason and I suspect that they will bounce back to win this one by 2 or 3 goals.
Also a big reminder to teams that play at Confederation turf, especially the 12:30 games to be respectful of our language and pops after the game. I would suggest that teams go up top and out of view of the youth teams rolling in after for their 2pm games. Our League has received a few complaints.

guardians with a whole new team out today and they looked good vs Nordic. Their only down fall was letting the ref get a hat trick vs them. I have never witnessed A ref allocate 3 PK's for one team in one game. That is until today which Nordic benefited from in scoring all 3 goals from dubious calls on the PK spot. Out of 3 one was deserving but none the less they got and scored on 3 PK's to win 3-1. LV also looked good with the addition of Johnny back in their line up.

Looks like the top 3 teams are closely matched in all categories so far.
Should be interesting game between Nordic and Roma this week.
Nordic 3 - Roma 1 Vikings 2 - Seymour 2 Howe Sound 4 - LV 1
