Thanks for the schedule update conductor and nscl admin. I hope we can get 18 games in. With a dry year and grass games a go after a monsoon we may have a chance. A real tough game for Azteca. The vikings had 15 ready to start and we had 10 of which two were limping. Before the half we had 9 with his back injury. Vikings were scrambling with 10 shots over the bar. I glad they chose to keep using there heavy mitre like ball. The ref for once gave Lv a few breaks. I wish we had our team of two summers ago. And now we have two more stacked teams to play.

Great season and I here we have lots more games to go cup games and round robins. I heard Fasio is out on Roma until further notice after a knee to the head last week. Hope he gets better without to much scarring...One of the nicest guys out there and great skills. Should make it interesting playing HS tomorrow.
Good luck in the games Sunday should be a few upsets out there to be had.

Saw about 30mins of the Roma Howesound game today Good game and ball movement by both teams Howesound hit the cross bar and created some chances Big Z managed to hold off 2 defenders drapped over him and make score the only goal only to blow out his knee later. That grass needs to be redone. I guess Roma has it locked up now but with both forwards out maybe just maybe this might be the year for someone else

Have to agree with begi's report. It was a hard fought battle with Howe Sound. With Roma's win they have equaled up with HS on the head to head. It could now come down to GF/GA +/- between these two teams. Nordic has also made it very interesting. They have 1 league game left with a win they end up with 32 pts. Both Roma and HS have games in hand but both teams are needed to win out right. HS more so, as Roma could afford 1 loss out of their remaining games. Any of the 6teams left must be loving the fact that they could be big spoilers to anyone of the top 3 teams. Guardians for example held there own against Roma and picked up a tie last week. Could they maybe pull off a tie against Nordic?? Roma will be short on the bench but it has been like that all year for them!!Vikings continue to be on a roll as they are probably the hottest team right now in the league.

howesound stomped around the field while LV slipped around like new kids on skates. the field was frozen. glad we could play though. Macartney is always a problem even when the sun is on the horizon and the sky blue. 4-0.
Regarding another matter Cheech and other Nordic teamates; A key for a jetta was found at the Interriver field after the Nordic Azteca game, unfortunately the owner from LV had left the field. If anyone has any info as the the wherabouts of this key could they please contact Sergio Kelly of LV. This would be mucho appreciated.

Does it all come down to one game for a provincial spot between Nordic and HS... can the Mexicans play spoiler and put Nordic through?
You better hope Nordic is on the sidelines cheering them on, hopefully the ball will be on Cliff's boot when it's needed most!

You better hope Nordic is on the sidelines cheering them on, hopefully the ball will be on Cliff's boot when it's needed most! Well the Mexicans almost became spoilers, if Nordic had turned up with a bunch of guys to watch the game it might have very well happened. HS was up 1-0 when Big Bad Basil put quite a scare into HS by tying up the game with about 12 minutes to go and LV playing a man short due to Cliff getting a card that matches his hair colour! Howe Sound though came right back and scored in under 30 seconds after getting evened up. Hats off to Howe Sound for clinching 2nd. The Romans also found a way to finally climb up the ladder as they hadn't been in first since early November. Nordic has been in first for quite a while but unfortunately they weren't able to hold down any of the top two positions. NSCL Champions Cup play starts this weekend and my early dark horse is Nordic as they will have something to play for now!!

Wow... almost the upset Nordic needed! Howe Sound didnt deserve the result... Umar had a chance to be a hero for Mexico, he could have burried one early and LV could have been up... But Credit to HS for immediately answering, I think Basil was still celebrating the goal... when HS came marching. Speaking of cards that match Cliffs hair (LMAO!!)... what is with the discipline handed out?? A Roma guy gets jumped and has to defend himself with 2-3 vikings on top of him and he gets the book thrown at him? I dont care who you are, the Viking player came swinging and the Roma guy had no option but to fight back to save his face... What are you supposed to do? take a couple licks??? Then watching Cliff pull a WWF flying chest/shoulder slam (not sure what the move exactly was?) into a Howe Sound player and only get 2 Yellows? and serve 1 game.... this makes sense? !?!??! ...by the way whoever Cliff ran into... solid 10 with the style points going down like you were shot! On to the Cup!

How about those cup scores. I guess team roma doesn't care too much. saving energy for the BC slaughter house. good on Seymour. they've turned it on this year and scored lots of goals. the leagues tightening up!

Interesting results today, several teams have grown stronger over the course of the season. I think the Champions Cup is wide open. Looking forward to hearing from Conductor about today's result for Roma. Congrats to Seymour, only Roma's 2nd loss in 2 years. LV - Nordic tie not surprising, LV can be a good side if they get a good turnout and focus on soccer.

You're kidding, right PT109? Almost sounds like a completely biased viewpoint.....and also like you weren't there.
