The season is just 10 days away and I can't believe all the talk going on about this season!! Looks to be another exciting year with the same 8 teams from last year. A few questions to ask are -will LV Azteca continue to have a strong team or is it true that some key players lost their working visa's and are no longer in Canada? -Does Nordic continue to be the team that keeps getting players who don't really know each other, but yet continue to win? Nordic IMO is a team that may bend but never breaks and always find a way to field a team, kudo's to their Management. - Will the Thunder continue it's ways from the beginning of last year or from the end of the last year?? Beginning of the year they were a bunch of no shows. End of the year this team was probably one of the hottest and definitely one of the more entertaining teams to watch. I still remember the come back, never say die attitude win last year against the Guardians. -Howe Sound wins all the time in league play and are definitely a well managed club, is this the year they finally break their streak and bring home some Hardware?? - Vikings decide to go back to their winning ways and kick Coveside out of the club thus going from CV United (which United they weren"t) abd back to the team name Vikings! Watch out boys cause the Irish are coming in hard this year! - will the Guardians continue to be the most sportsman like team?? - Roma has lost quite a few players along with some character, this will probably be either A) a rebuilding year or B) the beginning of the end for this team ! Good luck to everyone next week!

Too Bad.
Word is the Coveside guys left to follow their dreams
Look closely and you can see Rosie
Roddy finally took his show on the road and is making it in his new career
Listen closely and you can hear Cam on tour with Snoop Lion
As for the rest who knows but sometimes it just has to end

Week one is upon us and here are my predictions
-Seymour starts the season off on a winning note as they win a close one over LV Azteca.
-Howe Sound comes out strong over the Thunder and win by at least a field goal!
-Vikings vs Guardians should be a good battle and both teams will get a point here as I'm calling this game a tie!!

Big winner this weekend as I go 3 for 3 on my picks. Been awhile sine I've gone 100% on my picks, Howe Sound again looks to be the creme of the crop with a big victory. Hopefully Thunder won't be scared away from that beat down, as HS is a top team. Seymour opens it up in the 2nd half to dismantle LV. Nordic's game the score line doesn't do justice.Yes it looks one sided but that wasn 't the case. Nordic just needs to cut out bitching at each other an they will be a helluva of te am.Onto next week!

Howe Sound 8 - Thunder 0 Thunder had 8 at kick-off but their 11th man arrived 10 minutes after the game started. HS had a 1 - 0 lead at that point. Thunder battled hard but just didn't have any subs and ran out of gas against HS's multiple subs. Great to be back out on the pitch. Inter-River # 5 in excellent shape.

Well a couple of big match ups for week 2. let's see if I can keep my streak alive
-Howe Sound is too much for the Vikings. Vikings will battle hard but the 2 nd half is where HS pulls away as they have too much depth and talent on there team. They win by a field goal.
-Thunder vs Nordic, Nordic take out their frustrations from last week out on the Thunder and win by a few.
-Azteca vs Guardians in game of the week IMO. Guardians could be up big after 2 games if they can get a result here against Azetca. I'm predicting LV has a little bit of pride and shows up for this game only to lose a close one by a goal.

Wow... begi and spqr, could you have sh*t the bed anymore? 1 for 4 both of you... you two are both better than this. Stop hanging out in that circle with the Rastaman and make some better pics with a clearer head this week!
Nice to see Seymour come flying out of the gate vs Azteca... Haus must have been losing his mind watching 5 go in that were obviously not his fault.
Also nice to see, were the daisy duke umbros Mischo was sporting.

Congrats to begi who went 4/4 on the weekend predictions. Spqr and Conductor each getting one pick wrong. Some big games this weekend
Guardians vs Thunder, Guardians will somehow find a way to win this one. - Nordic vs Vikings this is a game that will say alot about both teams. Vikings kept it close to Howe Sound so this must have given them some confidence, while Nordic gets a big victory over Thunder. I'm going to call a tie in this one.
Game of the week IMO will be - Howe Sound vs Seymour, Seymour has picked up a bunch of players and if they continue to get those kind of numbers out to game they will do well. Seymour was unfortunate against Roma. I believe that Seymour underestimated Roma when all they saw the Romans show up with 12 players , seymour had 7 subs. They didn't really lose the game, I believe they just ran out of time against the Romans. Howe Sound is a different team though and they have lots of subs. So look to Howe Sound to continue sitting at the top!!

Seeing as no one is making their predictions? Here is a question does Seymour break Howe Sounds shutout streak? ?? I'm going to say Seymour gets One, anyone else care to comment??
