well as all of our esteemed teams representing the NSCL are now out of contention for provincials and the summer league around the corner thought id start the summer thread to see whats up for summer? will WV stack their team with imports or try and win with their winter league team? NAFC/Cliff/WS/Columbus and whoever else i can convince to join us for summer? Norvan/Wickam? Frybe/left over WV players? Coveside/Nordik + mixed bag of nuts(pun intended)? LV/whoever hasnt been deported? Malones/anybody who can help? Warriers/5 nations? Guardians/see malones? Bulldogs/well they seem to be pretty consistant with their players year to year...we shall see ;D

I'll get things started for the week of May 3rd....
NAFC/Sushi over Seymour
LV over Warriors
The Dogs over the Backyardiagns
WVFC over Howe Sound (ps: History dictates this one (along with other factors) have to go back to the 01-02 season when a Malones team defeated the then Peg Oly at LV park. Yes, Sir M, I know that doesn't count in your books)
Norvan Over the Sausage.

NAFC over Seymour 2-1 in a shootout. We're in 3rd place!! Not so sure about this NASL style 35 yard shootout rule. All the Brits on our squad were bitching, and that was before we lost. I think it went 8 rounds before our last shooter got denied for taking 7 seconds to score instead of 6. Field was tilted one way for most of the match and NAFC could have had 5 if they had the finish. John the Scot stood tall and made some fantastic saves. They were up 1-0 at the half on a good run and shot by Roman. We got one back in the second off a corner that looked kind of like this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=--fIyAwxRi4

Norvan 3 Vikings 1
Speed up front was causing some havoc on the Viking back line. The score was justified.

WVFC 2, Howe Sound 1.
Decent game. Howe Sound with early goal, could have have another one or two to be 3 up.....1-1 at the half. WVFC with a goal with less than 10 left. Good run to start the season.

The Howe Sound goaltender played really well. He and a real tendency to miss open nets from less than 5 yards out that WV has carried over the provincials kept this one under the 10 or so that they could have had.

10?!?! C'mon Sir M......
I heard (from 2 guys that look the same who are hard to separate and drink alot) that you text people after games to find out the score of the game or how certain goals were scored. Maybe not paying attention?
Sounds like a few other things have carried over from the winter/provincials as well.

Yes, 10. Probably more. Anyway, good effort by Malones I thought you guys were more competetive than previous years.
Good luck this year. You have a good goaltender, and are a good group of guys.
