Biggs, I agree with your point about our team anyways.
"Maybe a good time for all managers to talk with their teams to take a good look at themselves before blaming everyone else."
just to reply to what others have said, no I don't believe Roma are Angels, as we did quite a bit of whining too. I don't blame the ref for the loss or losing losing control, as again we need to be more in control of our emotions. Nordic got to us and they are deserving of the points. Yes we did miss some good chances in the beginning that may have changed the outcome of the game, but that's the beauty of having to play a game for 90 minutes. The one donkey on Nordic though that still stands out is the guy on the sideline yelling and swearing at his own teammates for stopping the ball from going over the fence on a Roma throw in late in the game. Who swears at their own team mate for showing a little bit of sportsmanship? Anyways enough about this game from me, as Roma has another battle coming up this week. We could easily be 1-2 just three weeks into the season.

I thought the Coveside NAFC game was a good one. Yes Coveside miss some good chances (like the one that skipped over the wingers foot from 3 yards out) when it was 2-0 but so did NAFC. Both teams played very fair and there was good sportsmanship. Coveside did look a bit tired compared to the NAFC wingers who ran well for the entire game and really streached the game. NAFC also dominated the mid and the air. Good win. The second game between these 2 will be a good one

#15 for Nordic knows exactly what he did.
... I did come to work today with all my teeth, just a fat lip...you cheap s.o.b.! Oh my god. Get this guy some cheese to go with his whine. What you took was not an elbow to the face. It was incedental contact between two players fighting for position. I saw the whole thing and the only person you should be pissed at is yourself for not being able to suck it up and play on. You really hurt your team. You should think about that as you sit on the sideline for the next eight games. Your team can blame the ref, or blame Nordic's defense, or the wind, or whatever else they like, but if I was them, I would be blaming you. News flash, soccer is a contact sport. If your going to flip your lid every time you get bumped then you should go play tennis or join a lawn bowling league. PS Hope you got something else to do for the next three months because I suspect you won't be playing any football. LOL

Not the classiest post! Note: Before our friend pinz asks the question, I will clarify rastaman's post. "cheese to go with his whine". This is a play on words (whine - wine) as in "cheese and wine"

Pinz will not ask the question...thanks for the clarification as the play on words was lost on me. But now I get it.

Roma lost the leauges runner up in goal scoring last year to a red card over the weekend.
It will tough for them to pull off a win against Coveside. I think they will have trobles finding the back of the net.
LV 2 - NAFC 3 Warriors 2 - Gaurdians 2 Viking 3 - Seymour 1 Nordic 3 - Malones 1

Roma 3 vs Coveside 1~ Roma will bounce back. FF with a hat-trick.
LV Azteca 3 vs NAFC 4 ~ Big Roman will be too much for the Azteca backline.
Warriors 0 vs Guardians 1 ~ A squeaker, could go either way.
Seymour 1 vs Vikings 4 ~ A couple of OGs claimed by Leonduzzi
Malones 1 vs Nordic 5 ~ Nordic look poised to pummel Malones.
Norvan ~ At least they wont lose points this week.

Yes spqr, you are right. Roma has lost a lot of fire power from last year. With guys that left and now with big Pete's suspension Roma has lost approx 35 goals from last years sqaud! That's alright, we knew it would be tough this year as it's the sophmore jinx. Teams are going to be gunning to take us down and rightfully so. Last year we may have caught some teams by surprise, but that's not happening this year. As for my picks this week -nafc will be over confident and will either tie or lose all 3 points to LV. LV has come out with a tough schedule to start the season. They are due for some points! - Gaurdians go for their 2nd win in a row and they will end up getting it. A first for this sqaud to win back to back I believe. Warriors though did show spirit last week by battling back in a losing effort to Malones. -Vikings keep their winning ways and also fill the net up some more to continue their goal on slaught! Where are the mighty English for Seymour? - Nordic will take care of Malones to stay undefeated!
Hopefully the sun sticks around for everyone for this weekends games!
