pinz... Let me preface this by sayng I'm not a huge fan of Nordic (or any team but my own for that matter,), but you seem to have sour grapes. It seems as though every game that you and your Coveside boys lose, there is an excuse, asteriks, fault blamed on something or somebody. Quit your pansy whining and accept a loss.
Which fat out of shape, cant even last 90 minute player are you.
Im so freaking fed up with Coveside's superiority complex. I know it is not all of them , probably not even that many of them for that matter, but it comes across in here as your sh*t dont stink. You wonder why Coveside is despised and everybody wants you to lose. Give your head a shake.
Same to you Rastaman.

Rastaman, you have a great rant, the only problem is this thread I thought wasTopic: Winter 09/10.
Don't worry though Rastaman as I feel a motion will also be coming up in March at the managers Winter meeting! It's going to take a motion from one of the managers at the spring meeting to have Nordic join the summer league, that motion will have to pass, then they can vote on which long standing summer league team will get the boot to make room for Nordic, because there is almost zero chance of getting another park. Thats how.
My picks for this weekend are
Nordic continues to roll with their undefeated season in a victory over Norvan. If Coveside can get more bodies than 12 or 13 I feel that they will break this 2 game slide of theirs. Vikings will give them a good battle though! In the Classic American game of the two Latin teams it will be Gaurdians over LV! ;D Lastly the Warriors continue there very impressive turn around this year over struggling Seymour! Seymour surprises me, at the beginning of the year there was all this talk about this team making an overhaul from last year and how they would be much improved! Looks like back to the drawing board this summer.
On a side note on behalf of Roma FC our thoughts go out to Roddy from Coveside. We just found out about what happened, not sure the extent of his accident but hope he recovers fast. As some one else mentioned, he is a great player on the field and he is a big loss for Coveside.

Taffy Taffy Sorry to disappoint you but your spidey sense is failing you. I am in fact the fat, slow, and can't even last 90 minute player . Pinz happens to be one of our better and classier players who was chosen by his peers to your Starting 11. See if you can figure that out. Also our match reports will always show Covesidefc in the best light because that is exactly the point. While the reports tend to be tendentious they do take the piss whenever possible against our own team mates and competitors equally. "The final whistle gave Nordic a 1-0 win and probably the league title. Congratulations to them. They’re a good bunch of lads and a good team" No Asterisk, No Excuse and No Whining. But I guess that you thought that that comment was a piss take too. If we are despised then ignorance is bliss. We are too happy trying to achieve the " happy dog" to be worried about what others think. Also in fairness, you spidey sense only partially failed you. I was a fat bastard once Finally our match reports are meant for the enjoyment of all. So, If you are easily offended by our forum then do not enter it.

Nordic better get a spot for summer league. we all hate odd # teams and westvan included. We also enjoy playing Nordic because they are a good aggression release.
Little teddie and gig belly bernie should both stuff chili and buns down each others throat and let this league run democratically not autocratically.
I was under the impression nordic needed a rehab rest. I was not aware this nscl is an invitional league.
extend the summer season to make up for all the winter BS and rotton weather.

Taffy - I can say, with confidence, that our sh*t stinks. Your welcome to verify it before our next game. Just wait until you see our manager saunter out of the change room and duck in there...and inhale..deeply.

Anybody know how the LV Azteca player is today? Was his leg broken? Wish him all the best for a speedy recovery. B

also gives Bernie a chance to try and steal our players for Winter ( Maybe I escaped ;D Bernie never once approached me to join his team when I played for them in the summer and I would dare to say never approached Christian, Tim or anyone else from Nordic. Stealing players - Put me on a milk carton......Did Nordic steal 5 players from Malone's a few years back......No but 5 players switched for whatever reasons. I didn't hear Trevor screaming like a little girl. With regards to Summer soccer It would be great to have the best teams playing but everything goes through a process and maybe at the next managers meeting a team will be voted out for Nordic to join in. Who knows but knowing as much as you about this most teams have a hard time getting players out in the summer and only having 15 players will see you at games with 8 or 9 ready to play. Ask Ted as we went through this a few years back. Nobody ever runs for president probably because everyone knows the job sucks. Maybe you should have a go at it and show us your unbiased ways.

Re: Bman
The LV player, Tetsusan, suffered a broken ankle. Not sure if there was a fracture. The MD told him the bone was unstable and he would insert a plate. He was scheduled for operation 5pm sunday. We had another guy separate a shoulder a few months back, he's back playing again; but I want to add that both times we went to Lionsgate around noontime and it involved 4 hours of waiting. We were given private rooms (so you can bring beer if you want to visit)
Thanks your concern. Tetsu's a fighter with a good spirit. we can only blame the ball he stepped on, there was no contact.
As you guys age you may want to consider buying ankle lace up raps (both roberto carlos and david beckham were these)
Good game and a good ref. I recommend keeping this ref on the payroll.

ok now that weve established that nodick is the best team ever after playing 4 games...wow...no doubt they will loose points this year......one of best goalies in league no question...defence is suspect but even i cant predict what will happen with Riml back there.. ball could go left right up down ... without Tibor there is no midfield(thank the soccer gods you do have him as he is one of the classiest and best depth players in the league) and Tim will get his goals if he can find the net if not he wont ..simple...undefeated and the team to beat but i predict will not finish at top of table come Feb....that said...( im just bitter after disapointing sunday) big loss for Frybe as one of "their" anchors is out for season...that will hurt them in the long season ahead (this will give you more time to try and convince teams other players to join you)...hope all is well Flaim..stop askin our goalie to play for you...after last week you sure you still want him? haha..enjoy the holidays.. stuff all your faces with turkey .... Hey Bushi...what was that you were saying. LOL

[/quote] Hey Biggs, Maybe Bernie just wasn`t that impressed with your play. Besides, it wasnt you we were worried about. As I recall, the last time Nordic struggled to field a team in summer was when a certain former Nordic centerfielder with an english accent (whom shall remain un-named )had a friend who was going to merge their team with Nordic for the summer and then pulled out last minute leaving Nordic in a bad spot. Things could have been much different, and they are now. ``Who knows but knowing as much as you about this``

My how times have changed with the league's last game of the season tomorrow and knowing giving a rats ass in terms of weekly predictions!! Well here go my picks for the final league games. NAFC and Vikings this game will end in a tie. The only thing left for these two teams is hopefully a nice playoff run. Coveside put a beat down on Norvan as NV has nothing left to play for. I geuss you could say this year was an improvement for NV as they moved up a division this year. There big thing this year was ending Roma's dreams of winning back to back titles with a big come from behind victory in which they deserved the 3 points. Malones vs Guardians, Malones will finish strong as they prepare their run into the playoffs and wild card game for the BC's. Seymour vs LV, Azteca finshes the season with a win. Most improved team IMO of the winter 09/10 season is the Warriors. Congrats to Kevin who has turned this team around and to the Warriors for a big improvement from last year!!!
