No kidding! Let's get a schedule going... I can't wait to see Nordic play a tough competitor again... they are not a first place team.

Check the standings Timmy (PT17). Nordic is the first place team so WTF are you talking about. Stick a cork in it We are undefeated after playing every team in the league (as I predicted months ago by the way). So what planet are you on? Or should I say what division are you in? LOL Oh ya, and happy fcuking new year.

Hey Pastaman, U are undefeated in 2009 timothy and the season has just begun,2010 is a whole different game. Send an email out in March once the Nodic's have gone through the second round playing against the remaining top 5 teams and I'm sure the only one that will be sticking a cork in their mouth will be U. Don't count ur corks until their all out of ur A** Pastaman. Happy New Year to all

Stay classy Rastaman!
Your mouth is as dirty as your play on the field... so I shouldn't be surprised.
The word I should have used for your squad is "overachieving". Azzuri you are so correct... I guarantee Nordic will not be at the top at year end, Nordic is a good team but not a first place team in this league.
Any interest in a wager Rastaman? If you win some cash you can buy some more of the good grass you are smoking.

So who is a first place team in this league?
I'd venture to say a few teams could be up there including Nordic who is tops right now. Saying they are overachieving is not giving much credit to the other so called first place teams which I suppose are underachieving.

Biggs,
I think the team to beat is the defending champs Coveside, they crushed Roma in the finals last year. If Roma is healthy and all the wops control their egos and stop getting carded they can make a good run too. Nordic has gotten pretty lucky this year but then again you have to be good to be lucky.
Don't get me wrong I like Nordic's team and they have some great guys, they are also well coached... the only person who doesn't fit in is the Rastaman!
...I thought smoking all that ganja is suppose to make you chilled and cool as a cucumber!

Cside don't forget to update the golden boot goals as well when putting out the schedule, Thanks !! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays! Rastaman well done on your prediction so far, are you willing to make another prediction for the second half of the season for Nordic or anyone else for that matter? As for my prediction I'm going to go out on a limb here and Predict that Canada will be playing for Gold in mens hockey at the Olympics!!

Norvan 3 Roma 2
Fairly even game. I thought Norvan deserved the 3-2 win.

As Norvan man stated they won 3-2 over Roma. Did they deserve all 3 points IMO no. But hey full credit to this over age underserving team for working hard and getting all 3 points. Roma came out sleeping and was scored on less than 1 min into the game. Roma was lucky to get an eqeualizer own goal 20 secs from the half. After half Roma came out strong and took the lead and had chance to go up by more after that!!! credit to Norvan as they didn't fold their tents and got one back on a scramble to tie it. About 10 mins after they scored on a long floater that caught every one off gaurd to net the winner! If top teams don't come to play NV WILL take points, they are a good squad but I feel have given up to many points to gain a BC berth!

On a side note what is the feeling from ALL the teams in the league playing during the Olympics? League meeting at the beginning of the year we were told that we would be shut down due to the Olympics, now we play games maybe!! Are teams affected by this? Roma has 10 players working the Olympics and had looked at this before the season in terms of possibly not folding. League execs have stated that the league would be shut down for the Olympics due to field allocation. If fields are open is this a league or exec's vote, on what happens during the Olympics?
