It should be an enjoyable game to watch poco Roma. I hope lots of goals. Rgdg Seymour LV. We've met many times and Seymour usually struggles. As usual at our age it depends who shows up and when. There's not much silverware around so this match could get nasty. We'll see if no. 16 can keep his composure. There could be an audiance encouraging some entertainment.

Congratulations to LV for winning the cup!
Well done to HS too for giving a great fight to the VMSL champs in the BC's and representing our league.
Too bad Roma didn't have a better showing on the weekend, at least I wasn't to far off on my prediction.

Well, since I'm the only one posting lately I'll make my final prediction for the winter season.
Howe Sound 3 - Roma 1
The confidence from the BC's will play out in this one. Howe Sound with lots and Roma with not much.
Enjoy the summer!

One of the President's mentioned that today's victory by ROMA was the first time in the history of the NSCL that a team has won this trophy 4 years in a row. ;D ONCE AGAIN "THE ROMANS ARE THE CHAMPIONS"... HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great line up for summer soccer. i hope our winter teams can show up the visitors. Watch out for flapping donkeys cheap sucker punches. the Meralomas are probably quite organized with lots of subs; hopefully thunder can get their tribe together and stand strong. Nice to see norvan back on the north shore. Good luck to all teams.

A bit late on my write up, but wanted to give a lot of credit out to Howe Sound on last sundays Kilby Cup final. They were definitely the more dangerous team on the day. I felt that Roma should have actually won it late in regulation but failed to put the ball in the net. With overtime being only 5 minutes a half not really much was generated. So off to PK's which was the longest one I have ever been a part of. Roma shot first and after 4 Roma shooters we were 2/4 with Howe Sound shooting second they were 3/3 only needing one of their final two to stop Roma from having an undefeated season. Roma's keeper came up big on HS last 2 shots and Roma scored on the 5 th shot to send it to extra shots. Everyone continued to score up until the 11 shooter which Roma scored and HS hit the crossbar. HS has always had troubles at beating Roma when it counts for something on the line and on this day they were truly unfortunate in not being able to break that spell. Congrats on Roma being the first team in at least a decade (maybe even ever) in going through the Winter season undefeated and taking all 3 trophies!! Good luck to all teams who play in the Summer and hopefully some teams can build on this season and come back even stronger for next Winter. As for spqr, thank you for all of your support this year, it truly has been a pleasure.
;D
