Fixtures are only posted up until the winter break... if you did a little bit of mathematical research you would have figured that out already instead of posting dumb negative sh*t that serves no purpose but to highlight bitterness.
If the people who have access to this forum don't have anything positive to say then why not stop involving yourselves in a chat that is meant to harness good natured banter and camaraderie between players and teams.
Surely you have something better to do like torture animals or pick off scabs.

Sad days for NSCL. Once had 12 teams now 5. This league never promoted expansion in fact it created its own contraction with several mergers over the years. when I first joined I was most impressed with the field turf that allowed us to play on rain soaked weekends while others played on gravel. Now that Vancouver is turfing fields this advantage is gone. My biggest complaint has been the lack of games; long holiday breaks and weather cancellations that were never made up. now that I play vmsl over 40 we have 22 teams split in two. we played 24 games last year. they make a concerted effort to get the games played. the negative is as of yet they don't have a summer league. nscl summer league was max 12 games. and my biggest complaint refs issuing yellow and red cards like Vancouver parking tickets.
good luck in the BCs

Surely you have something better to do like torture animals or pick off scabs. My math was right. You have 5 teams and if you play each other twice it's 10 weeks schedule. That brings the schedule to mid November. Now if you play each other 6 times you can have a games until spring 2016 like any other league. I see the truth hurts you and you rather not hear or read it. If that's the case I suggest maybe you are the one that needs something better to do and I don't suggest torturing animals.

We play each other 3 times just like we were doing with 6 teams. As you aren't aware of this means you have no involvement so why comment!?
Just suggesting we keep things positive or not say anything at all. It's obviously not the best state of affairs but hopefully we can rectify things for next winter.
Time will tell.
Have a good Thanksgiving all!

NSCL should change the schedule to 1 game day per month so at least the season lasts until February. From what the schedule shows this league will be complete in mid November. Sir M well said. I didn't bother replying to conductor as it is very obvious to everyone the quality of VMSL and NSCL. As I stated above the best team in the NSCL would be lucky to finish mid table over 35's Masters Div. 1. What's the saying Erroco you got to be good to be lucky? Yes Sir M did well to state the number of teams but what he forgets to point out is that no team in the VMSL masters is allowed to compete for the BC spots asides from the Premier division of 8 teams and yes Div 1 is allowed to compete but the reality is most div 1 teams choose to compete in the cup play down of Div 1,2 and 3 . Yes a few top teams take on the chance to play in the premier cup in hopes of knocking off some much more talented teams in Premier. Kudos to those teams. In retrospect the NSCL has the same philosophy albeit in a different approach. They play in a competitive league of their own with the hope of gaining a BC spot to potentially knock off a team from the more talented VMSL . So what's your point ? Yes your in a superior league because you play in the VMSL well done ,would love to be a fly on the wall to hear your great stories about how your bottom of the barrel team could crush an NSCL team. Hey I have no problem being in the NSCL and find the quality competitive and as well am happy with the 25 games per season we have averaged each year playing for the last 7 seasons in it. Bigger balls brings up the point of a 24 game season, which is going to be a first this year and this is all due to expansion. But in years past on average the VMSL averages an 18 game season. As for expansion, I also agree with his points, its just unfortunate that the past executives chose to only look out for themselves and not the league as a whole. At the end of the day you have a bunch of old guys still out going for a run and enjoying the game of soccer. It doesn't matter what league you are playing in. But hey Erocco if you feel proud cause you play on a much superior Div 1 team in the VMSL, hats off to you and I hope you enjoy your season.

I concur. You guys all have a turkey stuffing thanksgiving as non of you will be playing. Keep it positive and be happy your team has a full roster with unlimited sub's. Don't forget about reviving the northshore challenge cup. Have fun and stay injury free.

Biggerballs, complaining about cards in this league are you effing kidding me it's the same losers that get the cards every week and pull stupid crap. I've had one yellow in the last 4 years... and I would say I play a physical game. It is unfortunate that this league lost a few teams this year... but thank god they were the shite teams that were guaranteed wins every week. This year every game is a coin flip... anyone can win on any week! Its great!

ok I must take back the card comment. its the 3-4 refs that hand out sh*t loads of cards, not the league. it was the 4-8-12 game suspensions that were killers. vmsl has lower fines and shorter suspensions. its a few refs that are stuck refereeing mens soccer that fill the back of their cards with the slightest infraction. oh well it cant be just the money the keeps them coming back for verbal abuse. I predict roma will shoot to the top.
over and out

Conductor I just got a chance to look at your post above now 1:04 AM on October 10 re only VMSL Masters Prem and some Masters Div 1 being able to compete for the BCs. One could argue that the lower division teams are competing to get promoted and ultimately get that chance, so the original argument that the number of spots that the VMSL gets for the BCs per # of players competing in Masters (EVEN if you only count the Prem and Div 1 sides) is significantly less than the NSCL: ie NSCL gets more spots for the BCs proportionately than the VMSL.
As far as the argument that some VMSL Div 1 teams do not compete to get into the BCs, lots in fact turn down promotion when they earn it.
I believe they are going for the "participation" badge.

Last couple of the games of the season coming up and wow what a finish. Howe Sound after getting thumped the week before come out and beat the Vikings in a must win game 2-1. They now control their destiny for the BC Provincial spot dance ticket. Both Vikings play Seymour and NS United in their last 2 games. Seymour has been on a roll of late so could take points from one them. NS United with 3 games left after a good start to the season have not been able to muster much results. Will they potentially play spoilers? Looking forward to next season with the the new 16 team league. Will be alot more competition for all of us.

Wow 16 teams?? Where are they all coming from?? The BMSL master division and a one or two VMSL Master Div 2 teams. This may jump to 20 teams as now there is talk that a couple of the Master's teams from Millars league are now wanting to join. Going to be exciting next year!!

Seymour gives a smack down to Vikings 5-1 which clinches the final BC spot for Howe Sound. What happened to the Vikings after the Christmas break. This team was hot up until the break and then they disappeared. Congrats to Roma and Howe Sound for securing the BC spots this season. The real season is about to start up soon with the playoffs just around the corner. Anyone got some predictions?
